I love stumbling across something new! I was wandering around the grid looking at Project Themeory participants and caught a glimpse of a distant texture that looked lingerie-ish. I headed that way like a hound pursuing a fox, and found myself at CB Designs, aka Carrie’s Lingerie. I looked around and found a few pieces that have been sitting on my XStreet Favorites for a while that I hadn’t had time to follow up on. My loud “Oooooh!!” prompted my partner in crime (among other things), Abe Shackleton, to pop over and help me pick out some things. “Uh. Yeah. THAT.” was prompted by the little number I wanted to share with you today. It’s called Leopard – and it couldn’t be more simple… but well done simplicity outshines poorly done “froof” any day of the week. [Though, honestly, it was a struggle to choose between Leopard and Parys in Brick.] I wound up with half a dozen purchases in relatively short order.
What’s “Just Right”: I love the extra detail of the long, flowing prim bow – though the outfit does look good without it, if you just have to have something else worn in that slot, i.e. a collar. The slight ruffling of the fabric as it hits the upper thigh gives a nice touch of realism. The pattern brings a flirtatious bit of naughtiness to what is a very modest, feminine little outfit.
What Could Use Improvement: I do wish the prim bow had a *tiny* bit more texture detail on it – it’s a touch flat in appearance. A rich velvet or satin gloss would really amp it up a bit. Offering it in a chest slot option would also have been nice.
Other things to note: While this particular outfit is not available on XStreet, you can find many other things from Carrie Bridger Designs on XStreet. One thing to note — definitely shop their in-world store. The photographs on Xstreet really don’t do the outfits justice in some cases. Items that I passed over when doing online shopping, I snatched up when I saw them in-world.
Here, Kitty Kitty!
